Early symptoms of many other medical problems, including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid problems and high cholesterol, can also be detected during a comprehensive eye examination with one of our Doctors.
A critical component to diagnosing common eye problems is our Optomap Retinal Exam. This scanning laser is a screening tool that produces high-resolution color images of your retina, which reveals any abnormalities that can be precursors to disease. These images become a permanent part of your medical record and will aid our doctors in looking at changes to your eyes over time.
